Privacy
Last updated 7 October 2026 · Applies to palmistry.indiabusinessinternational.online and the installed IBI Palmistry app.
In short
- Your palm photo is sent once, over an encrypted connection, to be read, and is not stored on our servers.
- Your readings, name and date of birth are saved only on your own device. You can delete them at any time.
- No account, no sign-up, no advertising trackers, no selling of data.
What we process and why
Palm photo. When you tap Read my palm, the photo (reduced to at most 1280 pixels) goes to our server, which passes it to an AI vision model to find your palm lines and write the reading: Google's Gemini or Alibaba's Qwen through OpenRouter (we only allow providers that do not store your data or use it for training), Google's Gemini API directly, or an AI model running on India Business International's own computer. Our server keeps the photo only in memory for that request and does not save it or write it to logs.
Name, age and hand. If you give them, your first name, your age (worked out on your device from your date of birth — the date itself is not sent), and which hand you scanned are sent with the photo, so the reading can address you and place events at the right ages.
Usage limits. To keep the service free and fair, our server counts readings per day. It stores a one-way code made from your internet address and the date — it cannot be turned back into your address and changes every day — with a number. Nothing else.
What stays on your device
Your readings (with a small copy of the photo, unless you switch off Keep photos in my readings in the menu), your name, date of birth, hand choices, theme and text size are stored in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device unless you download a backup and share it yourself. Clearing your browser data, or My readings → Delete all, removes them.
Camera
The live scanner uses your camera only while the scanner screen is open, and only after you allow it. Video never leaves your device; only the single photo you take is read.
Children
IBI Palmistry is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian.
Entertainment only
Palm reading is a traditional art, not a science. Readings are for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not medical, financial, legal or psychological advice. We never predict lifespan, death, illness or a child's sex.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what we hold about you and ask us to correct or erase it. As we keep no photos or readings on our servers, everything you see in the app is under your own control on your device. For any question or grievance, write to us at the address below. We reply within 30 days.
